This weekend is a holiday because it is Memorial Day, being the last Monday of the month of May. It is set aside to remember the men and women who've died while serving in the United States Armed Services. It was originally called Decoration Day and began after the Civil War to recognize those of Union and Confederate soldiers who died during the war.
We celebrate the life given of our family, Cory Christian Kosters in Iraq.
I am proud to be an American whose Freedom has been fought for by others willing to take on the bravery of the fight, and yet faced whatever fear it took to follow through in the midst of it. God bless America
