Isn't it Friday yet?

It's a myth that short work weeks would go faster.. neither by the clock they don't and by Thursday it seems that you've been working harder than a work week with 5 full days in them..

The meatloaf recipe I tried yesterday was good and while I "quartered the recipe" to accommodate only 2 of us it was missing the hot sauce that I decided to ignore including.. and then wished I had. I'm not for spicy things but it needed the full recipe of spices in spite of less meat and less milk.  Another try at it another Wednesday in the future while Shane is away.

Today I came home from work with some things on my list to accomplish and so far all I've gotten done is a laundry load and making dinner. Which is simmering while I write this. Tomorrow we will leave around noon for Stacy's area of Madera for Sydney's 8th grade graduation and while we will only need one change of clothes wearing up there graduation choice.. I still have to pull it together so that we can leave as soon as I get home.  We have just about the right amount of time to get up there, check into our hotel in Chowchilla and then head back down to Madera where the graduation is at the church that houses the school...  So proud of Sydney and the extreme enjoyment she gets from her studies and the achievement of high standards for her work.  She was chosen to attend from a lottery a High School that is in Fresno called University High School on the campus of Fresno State University campus. The high school will have a total of 400 students.  That is quite an honor and validation that she has done very well to impress the board of her academic excellence.  She has attended a small school of K-8th grade with a graduating class of 8 and is the valedictorian, 4 of them have been chosen to attend this high school including Sydney. Greg and I, and Lisa and Kelly will also be attending.  Shane has to work Friday and Saturday.

Spaghetti dinner is waiting, time to go..
